Out of passion
The recipe has been the same for almost 30 years: we build what we need ourselves. The founder and developer tells the story:

The beginning
An email backup for my own needs
During my studies I needed a reliable backup for my emails. That side project became my first own shareware.

Self-employment
Passion becomes a profession
The shareware found its users, and more programs for email backup followed — for Outlook, Thunderbird, Outlook Express and Windows Mail. That is how Priotecs came to be.

The first apps
With iPhone and iPad came apps. The first one was MoneyControl — because our family needed a budget book.

Apps that grow along
When the kids were little, Moo and More was born. Later came Pockey for pocket money, then Cumo as a simpler budget book.

The Windows programs are history — today we build apps exclusively. The newest is Parata, the emergency folder, because this topic becomes relevant at some point, too.
